Spaghetti Sauce (using sausages) [Recipe submitted by Chris] Onions (1/2) Garlic (2-3 cloves) Carrots (1-2) Celery (1-2) Italian sausage (1/2 lb) [I like to use Caspbrio Brother's Chicken Basil Sundried Tomato Sausages] 1 can tomato sauce, and fresh basil. Take sausage out of the casing Chop up the onions/garlic and mix it with the sausage Then put it in the pan with a bit of olive oil and brown it before adding anything else. Then when the meat is browned, add the carrots and celery, And after they're a bit softer, add the sauce, and simmer to finish, adding the basil near the end I usually have to add water if the sauce is thick The idea is to break up the sausage too so when you put the mix in the pan, it will cook into little pieces.
